COVID-19 RESOURCES

Update 9/19/22 : Our North and Midtown locations now have the new updated Pfizer Covid booster. No appointment necessary. Ages 12 and up and at least 2 months since your most recent Covid vaccination.

Update 9/10/2022 : We are still waiting on the newest version of the Pfizer covid vaccine.  We are hopeful we will receive it in the next couple weeks.  We are no longer administering the old Pfizer vaccine for adults.

Flu shots will begin Monday, Sep 26th.

Update 04/04/2022 : We are currently offering the Pfizer vaccine for adults only at our Judge Ely and S Willis locations.  We currently do not have any more doses for those ages 5-11.  Per recent recommendations, we are offering a second booster to those adults age 50 and up and are 4 months away from their most recent dose.  A second booster may also be given to those who are immunocompromised.  Please call 325-677-2300 (north) or 325-232-8866 (midtown) to confirm availability.

UPDATE 1/11/2022 : WE ARE SOLD OUT OF AT HOME COVID TESTS.  WE CONTINUE TO OFFER PFIZER BOOSTERS WITHOUT AN APPOINTMENT AT OUR JUDGE ELY & S. WILLIS LOCATIONS.

UPDATE 1/10/22 : We have a small amount of Covid 19 at home test kits available.  First come first serve.

UPDATE 12/30/21 : We do not have any at home covid test kits at this time.  We still have adult Pfizer vaccinations at our North location and our Midtown location.  We have children's Pfizer vaccinations at our NORTH store only.  No appointment needed.

UPDATE 12/9/21 : We are continuing to offer Pfizer vaccinations to those needing their first, second or third dose of the covid vaccine at our Midtown and North locations.  No appointment is needed.  Please come Monday through Friday 9am to 4:30pm.  We are also offering the Pfizer children's doses on a limited basis at our NORTH location only.  Please call 325-677-2300 to make sure the children's dose is available before coming by.  

 

UPDATE 10/22/21 : Based on CDC recommendations released yesterday we will be offering Pfizer Covid booster vaccinations to those that are eligible even if they received Moderna or J&J. We only have Pfizer. Our Judge Ely and South Willis locations will be administering these boosters during normal business hours. No appointment necessary.

UPDATE 10/12/21 : We are continuing to give all vaccinations on a walk in basis.  We have two flu shots right now : Fluzone HD (age 65 and up) and Flucelvax (ages 5 and up) No appointment is needed.  We are no longer restricting the Pfizer booster shot to 10am-12noon.  You can come in anytime, preferably no later than 5pm Monday thru Friday.  Thanks!

UPDATE 9/24/21 :  Based on recent recommendations from the CDC, we will begin administering Pfizer booster shots on Monday September 27th.  No appointment necessary.  We will only offer boosters between 10:00am and 12:00 noon Monday through Friday.  All Covid vaccines will be given at our North (Judge Ely Blvd) and Midtown (S. Willis St) pharmacy locations.

 

Below are those persons eligible for a third dose of Pfizer :

  • Immunocompromised ages 18 and up 28 days after second dose.

  • Ages 65 and up with no underlying medical conditions 6 months after second dose.  

  • Ages 18 and up with underlying medical condition(s) 6 months after second dose.  

  • Ages 18 and up who are at increased risk for exposure due to occupational or institutional setting (i.e. healthcare workers, school teachers, etc) 6 months after second dose.  â€‹

Update 5/22/2021 :  THE ONLINE SIGN-UP FORM HAS BEEN REMOVED.  IF YOU ARE WANTING A COVID VACCINE PLEASE CALL 325-677-2300 TO SEE WHEN OUR NEXT COVID VACCINE CLINIC WILL BE.  WE ARE OFFERING VACCINATIONS THROUGHOUT THE WEEK AT THIS POINT.

Update 4/29/21 : We have completed contacting over 2000 persons that have signed up on our list.  We are having a clinic on Wednesday, May 5th from 9-12pm.  Please call 325-677-2300 if you are interested in making an appointment.  We have a few more spots available.  This clinic will be held at our new location at 1417 S. Willis St, Abilene, TX 79605.  The vaccine being used will be the two dose Pfizer vaccine.

UPDATE 4/13/21 : DUE TO RECENT INFORMATION BEING RELEASED ABOUT THE J&J VACCINE, WE HAVE PAUSED OUR JOHNSON & JOHNSON VACCINE CLINIC UNTIL FURTHER INFORMATION IS RELEASED.  IF YOUR NAME WAS ON OUR J&J LIST, YOU WILL CONTINUE TO REMAIN ON OUR LIST AND NOT LOSE YOUR PLACE IN LINE AND WILL BE OFFERED THE PFIZER VACCINE IF YOU DESIRE.  WE ARE CURRENTLY WORKING ON ACQUIRING MORE PFIZER VACCINE.  WE APPRECIATE YOUR PATIENCE.

UPDATE 3/27/21 :  We received a small amount of Pfizer vaccinations.  We will be having a walk-in clinic on Monday, March 29th from 2-5pm at our Judge Ely Location.  No appointment is necessary.  Ages 16 and up.  Limited number of doses.  

​

UPDATE 3/23/21 : We have completed our 100 J&J shots.  It took 1600 persons on our list to find 100 people that still needed the shot.  Currently, we have approximately 300 remaining on our list.  We are still asking that those are interested in a Covid vaccination to sign up using our LINK to the Google Form.  We are unsure when our next shipment of J&J vaccine will arrive.  There is a chance we will receive some Moderna vaccine in the near future.  Stay tuned.

UPDATE 3/8/21 : We will be receiving 100 shots of the J&J vaccine this week.  We have about 2000 people on our list but some of those have already received the vaccine from another source.   We are sorry we are not able to accommodate the entire list at this point.  Hopefully this is the beginning of more shots to come.  Stay tuned for more updates and hopefully a phone call from our pharmacy when your number is called.

UPDATE 1/12/21 : We have been approved by the State of Texas to administer the vaccine but have not been given any information on WHEN or HOW MUCH vaccine we will receive.
